Vikings Pick Off Aaron Rodgers Late to Beat Jets in London

Down by six points with three minutes left, the Jets had the Vikings right where they wanted them. Aaron Rodgers had the ball and two timeouts, but Rodgers did not deliver.

Instead, Rodgers threw an interception to Vikings cornerback Stephon Gilmore with 44 seconds left in the game, ending the hope of a comeback at Tottenham Stadium. After the loss to Minnesota, New York fell to 2-3 this season.

The Jets dug themselves a huge 17-0 hole early, partly because of two interceptions from Rodgers in the first quarter, one that was returned for a touchdown.

Despite the sloppy start, the Jets fought their way back and had a chance to win in the final minutes.

Mets Beat Brewers, Advance in MLB Playoffs

On the verge of extinction from the postseason, Alonso’s potential final at-bat in a Mets uniform instead turned into his biggest moment yet with the organization.

Alonso hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning against Milwaukee closer Devin Williams, catapulting the Mets to a 4-2 victory over the Brewers in Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series at American Family Field.

The Mets, who won their first postseason series since 2015, got the final three outs from David Peterson and advanced to the NLDS beginning on Saturday in Philadelphia.

Held to two hits over the first eight innings, the Mets erupted in the ninth against Williams.

Tom Brady Praises Former Coach Bill Belichick

“I’m incredibly grateful to have played for the best coach in the history of the NFL,” Brady wrote in an Instagram post. “He was a great leader for the organization, and for all of the players who played for him. We accomplished some amazing things over a long period of time, many of which will be hard to replicate. He worked every day to help us achieve the ultimate goal, in the ultimate team sport.”

“He set the tone for the organization, to never Falter in the face of adversity, and to do what we could do, and what was in our control, which was to go out and DO OUR JOB.”
