Chargers to Play in Sao Paulo as NFL Returns to Brazil

The NFL made its Brazilian debut during a Week 1 matchup at Corinthians Arena last season, which saw the eventual Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

“After a successful and memorable first game in Brazil in 2024, we are delighted to confirm the league’s return to São Paulo with the Los Angeles Chargers as the designated team in what will be an incredible next chapter in the market,” said a spokesperson.

Giants Lose a Heart-Breaker to Cowboys in OT

The overtime game saw 41 points scored in the fourth quarter, as Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson played well. A 64-yard Brandon Aubrey field goal sent this game to overtime after Wilson connected on a 48-yard touchdown bomb to Malik Nabers, which was after a short George Pickens touchdown that happened just after the two-minute warning.

Both teams were heavily penalized. The Giants committed 14 penalties for 160 yards, and Dallas committed 12 for 106 yards. New York went over 500 total offensive yards for the first time since 2011 – another game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants were the winners of that affair, but they failed to seize victory despite a valiant effort.

Buffalo Bills Destroy New York Jets 30-10

The Bills jumped out to an early lead and coasted behind an efficient offensive performance and dominant defensive play.

James Cook led the way with two rushing touchdowns. Cook made a sensational, ankle-breaking 44-yard rush in the second quarter to add to the highlight reel from an otherwise quiet and workmanlike performance.

The Bills defense didn’t allow the Jets near the end zone until garbage time. Buffalo’s defense, playing without Ed Oliver, Taron Johnson, and Maxwell Hairston, held the Jets to under 100 total yards well into the fourth quarter.
