Miami Dolphins Crush New York Jets

The Dolphins have improved from 1-6 to 6-7 and are mathematically alive in the AFC playoff hunt.

The Jets played without Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner (traded) and Justin Fields (injury). They also lost quarterback Tyrod Taylor to a groin injury in the first half of this game.

Dolphin Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa improved to 1-7 when the temperature is 46 degrees or colder at kickoff. It was 41 degrees.

The odds of Mike McDaniel returning as Miami head coach in 2026 appear to be improving each week.

Patriots Rout Giants for 10th Straight Win

The Patriots outgained the Giants 395 to 239, with Drake Maye continuing to make an MVP case. He went 24-of-31 for 282 yards and two touchdowns.

Maye completed passes to eight different receivers, with Hunter Henry catching four for 73. Kyle Williams had a 33-yard touchdown reception, and Kayshon Boutte scored on a 3-yard catch.

The Patriots dominated in all three phases, but three miscues by the Giants special teams allowed New England to run away with it.

Jets Beat Falcons 27-24 on Last Second Field Goal

In a game between two struggling teams that was anything but pretty, Folk’s kick was also far from it. But in tough conditions, the 41-year-old got just enough on the football and was mobbed at midfield by his teammates as the Jets fans in a drenched and half-empty MetLife Stadium went wild.

Tyrod Taylor went 19 of 33 for 172 yards and a touchdown pass and also ran for a score in his second start for the benched Justin Fields as the Jets (3-9) snapped a two-game skid. Adonai Mitchell had eight receptions for 102 yards and a TD, and Breece Hall ran for 68 yards and a score.

After the defense held Kirk Cousins and the Falcons to a three-and-out, the Jets got the ball back at their 43 with 35 seconds left. Taylor hit Mitchell on the drive to put Folk in position for his winner.
