Odell Beckham Jr. Agrees To Contract With Los Angeles Rams

Odell Beckham Jr. shed some light on his decision to join the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham’s decision caught many off-guard, but the wide receiver said it “felt right,” and admitted that Rams players recruiting him played a role.

“It felt right in my heart and my soul,” the receiver said of signing with the Rams

We know Beckham clearly didn’t feel valued or appreciated in Cleveland. For whatever reason, he simply didn’t become a big part of the offense there and never clicked on the field with Baker Mayfield.

A number of Rams players made clear to Beckham that they wanted him on the team. That matters, as does the fact that the team is clearly in contention.

Bills destroy Jets 45-17

In the New York Jets’ 9th game of the 2021 season the Jets were crushed by a Buffalo Bills team that completely outclassed them, 45 – 17.

The Jets Mike White QB Experiment reached an unfortunate but unsurprising conclusion as Gang Green suffered yet another bludgeoning.

The Jets were dominated on both sides of the ball. Jets QB Mike White threw four interceptions and the Jets defense looked helpless to stop anything the Bills and their QB Josh Allen were doing on offense.

The Bills lead swelled to an all but insurmountable 31 – 3 early in the third quarter and the rout was on.

The rest of the game was just extended garbage time. The Bills showed why they are in first place and the Jets showed why they are in last place today.

Cam Newton to Replace Sam Darnold for the Panthers?

Cam Newton is back in Carolina.

The former MVP agreed to a contract with the Panthers: the one-year deal is worth up to $10 million with $4.5 million guaranteed and a $1.5 million roster bonus, according to multiple reports.

Newton, whom the Panthers selected No. 1 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, has been unsigned this year since the Patriots cut him in training camp. He didn’t do much last year with the Patriots, throwing for 2,657 yards and rushing for 592 as the team struggled to adjust to life without Tom Brady.

The Panthers, though, have struggled to adjust to life without Newton.

Sam Darnold isn’t the answer at quarterback. The former Jet, for whom the Panthers dealt a second-round pick and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a shoulder injury, has thrown 11 interceptions to seven touchdowns. He’s averaging just 6.5 yards per attempt. PJ Walker was in line to be Carolina’s starter before the Newton reunion.
