Astros Rally vs. Braves in Game 5, Stay Alive

The Houston Astros fended off elimination on Sunday night and denied the Atlanta Braves the chance to win the 2021 World Series at their home ballpark. The Astros defeated the Atlanta Braves in Game 5 of the World Series by a 9-5 final to force Game 6 and a return trip to Houston.

The Astros still trail in the best-of-seven series by a 3-2 margin, and Atlanta remains one win away from its first championship since 1995.

The Astros fell behind early on Sunday, with Atlanta center fielder Adam Duvall hitting the ninth first-inning grand slam in postseason history. Nevertheless, the Astros were able to rally and tie the game at 4-4 in the third inning. Freddie Freeman then put the Braves back up with a solo home run. The Astros weren’t done, though, as Houston received contributions from unlikely sources against Atlanta’s usually reliable bullpen.

Catcher Martin Maldonado drove in three runs on the night, and Marwin Gonzalez plated a pair with a pinch-hit single.

Atlanta Beats Houston With Back to Back Home Runs in Game Four

The Atlanta Braves mounted a late comeback against the Houston Astros on Saturday night to take Game 4 of the World Series by a score of 3-2. The Braves now lead the best-of-seven series by a count of 3-1, which means they’re only one win away from their first World Series title since 1995.

When the bottom of the sixth inning began with a flyout from Braves pinch hitter Orlando Arcia, Baseball Savant gave the Astros a 79 percent chance of winning Saturday’s game.

And why not? The Astros had led since the first inning and added a run in the top of the fourth. This postseason, teams that scored first were 27-7.

But the Braves had some magic for their home crowd. After Austin Riley drove in a run later in that bottom of the sixth, Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the seventh to put Atlanta on top. The bullpen did the rest as Luke Jackson and Will Smith pitched scoreless innings, and just like that, the Braves had won Game 4 3-2 and taken a 3-1 advantage in the World Series.

UFC Returns to Madison Square Garden this Saturday

UFC 268, headlined by a rematch between reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (19-1 MMA, 14-0 UFC) and Colby Covington (16-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC), takes place Saturday night, Nov. 6.

If Covington wins, where do you think he will celebrate? We predict that Rick’s Cabaret New York, the famous gentlemen’s club located just one block from Madison Square Garden, can expect a visit from Colby and his entourage.

We might even say it’s a sure bet, as these photos of the UFC star hanging out at Rick’s Cabaret reveal a very happy fighter, indeed.

A spokesman for the club told us that there are always after-parties following sporting events at the Garden, and all UFC fans are welcome. “The three-story club features over one hundred gorgeous entertainers nightly, bottle service, delicious food, and the best in VIP treatment.

Definitely a great place to visit after the MSG show. Say hello to Colby for us.
