NEW YORK — Who do you pick to win the Super Bowl? We asked some of the lovely ladies who perform at Rick’s Cabaret New York, the three-story adult club known for its gorgeous dancers, warm hospitality, and the best in VIP treatment. It is also the preferred club of many celebrities, Wall Streeters, and pro athletes. 

There were so many hot girls all over the club. We did manage to get a small sampling (between dances). Our survey found a slight majority of the Rick’s Cabaret girls think the Eagles will win.

“I love football and can’t wait to watch the Chiefs vs the Eagles,” said Rick’s girl Naomi. I think that the Kansas City Chiefs are great, but they can’t win every time. The Eagles will win.” 

Rick’s girl Katina likes the Philadelphia Eagles. “They have dominated the field all season and I wish quarterback Jalen Hurts would dominate me like that. Ha!”

“We all just hope the refs don’t make any bad calls and screw things up,” said Rick’s girl Veronica. “But no matter how the game goes, you can be sure that the after-party here will be off the hook. Come party and play with us all night and make it rain!”

Pete Alonso may wind up signing again with the New York Mets.

Alonso and the Mets are currently far apart in talks, with a sizable gap between what the first baseman wants and what the Mets are offering right now.

The two sides are far enough apart that the Mets have considered other options at first base. One move could involve moving third baseman Mark Vientos to first and letting younger players like Brett Baty try to lock down the third base job.

The Mets, like many teams, are not prioritizing a need for power as  much, which is hurting Alonso’s market. Alonso is also coming off a down year by his standards, as he hit .240 with 34 home runs in 2024. Setting aside the shortened 2020 season, that is the lowest single-season home run total of his career. 

The first baseman remains a fan favorite, however, and bringing him back would be a popular move. Whether it is possible might depend on whether the two sides are willing to compromise.

Two years later, the Chiefs and Eagles are getting together in the Super Bowl again.

Last time, the Eagles entered the game as 1.5-point favorites for the game played in Arizona. This time, the DraftKings opening line has the Chiefs as 1.5-point favorites in Super Bowl LIX, to be played in New Orleans.

In Super Bowl LVII, the Eagles seemed to have the better overall team. As we saw at the time, that doesn’t matter when the Chiefs have quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

We’ll find out whether the Chiefs can do it again, giving them the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat — with the bookends coming against Philadelphia.
