Falcons Return Two Picks For TDs Beating Hapless Giants 34-7

They would have to do it against a Falcons team that was starting their top draft pick, Michael Penix Jr., at quarterback to help jumpstart their offense.

The Falcons entered the game with a 7-7 record and in the thick of the NFC postseason picture and were 8.5-point favorites over the listing Giants.

  • Two pick-sixes by Giants quarterback Drew Lock gave the Falcons 14 easy points. For a team that’s averaged just 14.9 points per game this season, that put them in an insurmountable hole.
  • The Giants needed to establish a ground game on offense but playing from behind and averaging 3.5 yards per carry on the 13 attempts they did have didn’t allow that to happen.
  • The Giants’ inability to drive the football continued. Nine of their 11 drives consisted of just five plays or less.

Jets Beat Jaguars 32-25

In a game that meant very little for the standings, the Jets found a fourth-quarter way to win as Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers rolled back the clock. Adams ended up with 198 yards and two touchdowns and set up Breece Hall’s game-winning touchdown run, final score, 32-25.

One unexpected source of offense was Rodgers’ legs. Rodgers, who ended up with 289 passing yards and three touchdowns, was also the Jets’ leading rusher as he racked up 45 yards on scrambles, including three first downs with a season-long 18-yarder.

Mike Tyson Talks About Jake Paul Fight

“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for the fight. No regrets to get in the ring one last time.”

“I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in the hospital and had to get healthy: so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for.”

Tyson, the youngest boxer to ever win a heavyweight title and one of the most dominant ever in the weight class, went 50-6-2 (44 KO) in 58 career professional fights prior to the Netflix loss. Paul has a 10-1 record in 11 professional boxing matches.
