Patrick Mahomes threw a walk-off touchdown to Travis Kelce in overtime as the Chiefs beat the Bills 42-36 after an all-time encounter which saw twists and turns throughout.

The game culminated in a wild ending, which saw an extraordinary 25 points scored in the final 1:54 of regulation time.

The 42-36 loss to the Chiefs in overtime marked a second straight year the Bills’ season has come to an end against Kansas City. Buffalo has yet to win a road playoff game under coach Sean McDermott (0-4).

Their goal of reaching the Super Bowl — and of getting past the Chiefs — will have to wait at least another year. The Bills spent the offseason preparing to beat Kansas City after losing in last year’s AFC title game at Arrowhead.

This time, the game ended in devastating fashion on the first drive of overtime after the teams scored four times in the final two minutes of regulation.

The game will be remembered as one of the greatest in NFL history, and with two of the league’s best young quarterbacks at the helm, it could be a clash we see multiple times in the years to come.

Things didn’t remotely go as planned for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC divisional round, losing 30-27 to the Los Angeles Rams at Raymond James Stadium. For all the playoff misery Bengals fans suffered through, these past two weeks have been pretty damn special.

Last week, the Cincinnati Bengals ended their 31-year playoff win drought with a thrilling 26-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

This week, it was another barnburner that came down to the final seconds, but the Bengals came out on top once again, beating the Tennessee Titans 19-16, this time thanks to an Evan McPherson walk-off kick to send Bengaldom to the 2022 AFC Championship Game.

Evan McPherson continued what should go down as one of the best kickers a rookie has ever had, and this was unquestionably one of the best playoff games the NFL has ever seen from a rookie.

The final one was a 52-yarder as time expired.

Burrow finished the game 28-of-37 passing for 348 yards and one interception, but the Titans defense did not make it easy on him — Tennessee tied the single-game playoff record with nine sacks. Despite the defensive effort, the Titans’ postseason ended in disappointment again after earning the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.
