Jets Drop Overtime Battle to Packers

The New York Jets thought they were headed to their first 2-0 record since the 2015 season.

But head coach Aaron Glenn’s team couldn’t hold on to a second-half lead Sunday afternoon and lost a heartbreaker to the Green Bay Packers in overtime.

Late miscues and a key failed play led to the Jets (1-1) losing their first game of the season.

Geno Smith was sacked on the first two plays of overtime, and the Jets had to punt on their first possession. It allowed the Packers to march down the field and win it with a 26-yard field goal.
