The Milwaukee Brewers Win the World Series

Behind a dominant pitching performance from Jacob Misiorowski and timely hitting from rookie Cooper Pratt, Milwaukee closed out the series four games to one and ended a 57 year wait for its first World Series title.

After Tampa Bay avoided elimination with a dramatic extra inning victory in Game 4, the Brewers entered Wednesday determined to finish the job. Milwaukee delivered a strong performance on both sides of the ball, limiting the Rays’ offense while generating enough runs to establish control early.
