McDonald’s McRib Sandwich Is Coming Back!

McDonald’s iconic McRib sandwich is making its return. The McRib will return nationwide in November. Notably, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the fan-favorite fast food item.

McDonald’s has assured its patrons that the McRib will be available “for a limited time at participating McDonald’s restaurants via carry-out, at the drive-thru, on the McDonald’s App and through McDelivery.”

The McRib first launched four decades ago, and very quickly became a huge hit with McDonald’s eaters, for its “seasoned boneless pork patty slathered in BBQ sauce and topped with slivered onions and tart dill pickles, all on a homestyle bun.”

“In the 80s, the masterminds behind McDonald’s food innovation had a truly unique idea: an undeniably delicious sandwich that could be enjoyed during the colder seasons.”

Whether you’re a McRib loyalist or first-timer, there is no denying that the McRib is one of the most iconic sandwiches of all time.

Tom Brady Leads Another Comeback Win In Record-Setting New England Return

Tom Brady’s first match-up against his former team managed to live up to massive expectations and then some.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion finished with 269 yards on 22 of 43 passing, which included setting the NFL all-time passing record and leading a 19-17 comeback victory over his former team of 20 years, the New England Patriots.

Trailing 17-16 with 4:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, Brady led a successful drive that was capped off by a 48-yard field goal by Ryan Succop with 1:57 remaining.

Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones finished Sunday’s game with 275 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, leading New England into field goal range before kicker Nick Folk missed on a would-be 56-yard attempt in the rain.

New York Mets Say Goodbye To Manager Luis Rojas

Luis Rojas was let go as manager of the New York Mets after two losing seasons.

The team declined its option on Rojas’ contract for 2022, making the announcement a day after finishing third in the NL East at 77-85 in Steve Cohen’s first year of ownership. The move was no surprise, the first of several significant changes coming again this offseason for a club in constant turmoil.

“I want to share such heartfelt gratitude to so many in the Mets organization for not only the last two seasons as manager, but for the last 16 years in a variety of roles,” Rojas said in a statement released by the team.

The Mets said Rojas has been offered the opportunity to remain in the organization in a role still to be determined. The club said decisions about the coaching staff will be made soon.

Expected to challenge for the playoffs or even a pennant with $341 million newcomer Francisco Lindor at shortstop, New York led the division for 90 straight days despite a wave of injuries. Rojas drew praise for his steady hand and communication skills.

But then everything fell apart over the final two months of the season.
